MODx/PHP Developer Needed for a Quick-Turn Project
Seeking developer/programmer fluent in PHP for work on a form data handling requirement needed for a Web site management system developed on the MODx platform (modxcms.com). What follows is a project outline. I can share all details required for a well-informed estimate but need to refine the requirements through a dialog with the selected developer/programmer.
The basics: To enable ecommerce on the site system under developmnet, the Web user creates price sets. A price set consists of three parameters — a size, 3-4 options related to that size, and a corresponding price for each size/option combo. For each set, anywhere from 3-5 sizes may be offered (this is up to the Web user to determine).
The Web user will apply a “standard” price set to the majority of products sold on the site, with custom price sets applied to the remainder. As with the aforementioned price set parameters, the quantity of custom price sets will be determined by the Web user.
Price sets are input by the Web user via a web form and held in the database (mySQL). This is one element of the project – development of the form handling script. Next, the stored price set data needs to pass into a second, add-to-cart form any time a product page is called. This form is a dropdown field containing the size/option/price parameters associated to the product. This is a second element requiring a programming resource.
There are multiple ways to accomplish the above, and there are additional requirements that I’ll share if you’re interested in pursuing this opportunity. It’ll be a straightforward project and if you’re not familiar with MODx, an opportunity to dive into an open-source CMS gaining huge adoption. Please include your standard rate, your experience and/or portfolio, and availability. Knowledge of MODx and the MODx API is a huge plus. This need is immediate. Forward your information to ArtisanConcepts@yahoo.com.

• A little OCD or even a lot OCD with your attention to detail and maintaining design integrity.

Will pay someone $ to configure PHP/DB2 on my PC
subject: I need a consultant to configure PHP/DB2 at my house in Gresham
Help!!!!
I have spent many weeks trying to configure PHP/IIS to use the db2.dll to connect
to DB2 Express-C.
I am at the point of willing to pay a consultant ($50 pr hr?) to come to my
house and set up my PC.
I’ve pretty much downloaded everything, so, that should not take too much time
to configure.
I want to be able to use the db2 functions, like, db2_connect, rather than
the slow ODBC commands, so that I have experience with the library of db2 db functions.
Is there anyone out there that can help?

PHP/MySQL Programmer for Hire
Hello,
Thank you for the opportunity to introduce myself.
I’ve been a PHP freelance programmer for 6 years, and I’m now looking to join a development firm/organization. Recently, I finished developing a client’s social networking website which leveraged the CodeIgniter framework. As an entrepreneur I’ve been developing a custom web framework tool to expedite the development of new web based projects.
My resume exemplifies a diverse skill set and experience in several technologies and industries. Though I find myself writing visual basic macros for office automation solutions for some of my clients, my preference and focus is on Apache, MySQL, and PHP solutions. I have experience configuring, profiling, optimizing, accelerating, compressing, and caching to meet web service system performance requirements. I am an eager learner and self-motivated worker who is quick to acclimate to new environments.
I have a proclivity for understanding the fundamentals of best coding and administration practices which provides a solid foundation for growth and learning new technologies. For example, I successfully tutored a college level student in .ASP though I have never written any code for an .ASP application.
I volunteered full-time for the non-profit BAN (Basel Action Network) complaint ewaste recycling division. I undertook many projects for this organization to improve business growth, future business planning, cost analysis, price negotiations, warehouse layout, procedures, and efficiency. The organization has a great mission, and this work experience is an example of my ability to commit myself fully to a cause I feel is worthy.
I have an entrepreneurial spirit and work ethic.
I previously lived in the west coast, and I would like to relocate to Portland, OR to be closer to my family.
I can provide a resume upon request.
I look forward to hearing from you, and I thank you for taking the time to consider me for your PHP/MySQL development career opportunities.
Regards,
Daniel T. Kolbo
