Web Programmer Needed in McMinnville

Linfield College is looking for a Web Programmer. This will be a full-time position with excellent benefits.

Description: Experienced, versatile, web professional, needed to participate as a member of the web support team in developing new web and media sites and applications as well as maintain existing sites and applications.

Job Responsibilities:

• Analyze, review and recommend program revisions. Recommend new products and processes to increase operating efficiency

• Maintain and update static and database driven web content

• Work with the Webmaster and Server Administrator to develop and deploy web applications

• Assist in the training and support of web application end users

• Assess emerging technologies for their efficacy and possible use at Linfield

• Train as Webmaster backup

• Write and update technical documentation.

Qualifications: Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and three years of programming, computer systems or data base administration experience; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.

• Experience with PHP, MySQL and CSS required

• Experience with Flash, Java, XML and Javascript a plus
